This year, some family friends asked me to paint their dogs who passed away. I’ve painted a lot of dogs before, but this felt different. It wasn’t just about getting the colors right or making them look the same, it was about trying to show who they were to the people who loved them.

This Father’s Day, I got to do something really special. I painted a portrait of Stevie, the Seeberan family’s dog! 🐶The Seeberan family are close family friends, and since Stevie is basically the star of their home it was the perfect gift for Mr. Seeberan.
